Glamorous diva Raveena Tandon, will be seen walking for ace Designer Jayanthi Ballal on the 16th of September at Mysore Fashion Week 2016 – Season 3. Jayanthi Ballal will showcase her Kanchivaram line, an eclectic creation that reeks of tradition woven with a modern touch.
As an ode to the rich cultural heritage of Mysore, the designer has come up with a line of designs that will feature heritage jewllery created on saris. Celebrities like Soha Ali Khan, Gauahar Khan, Tisca Chopra, Bruna Abdullah, Sharmila Mandre & few others have adorned her designs in the past.
You can see the use of semi-precious stones, antique beads like kundan and a lot of zardosi work throughout the collection. Bright and vibrant colors light up the whole line of designs. The designer has created a perfect blend of ethnic techniques and contemporary styles. It is a sartorial extravaganza waiting to unfold on the Mysore Fashion Week stage. The label ‘Jayanthi Ballal’ speaks volumes about her design sensibility and thought process. Her cheerful designs are perfect for the wedding season.
