The makers of San 75 have decided to push back the release of the film to present it in the “best way.” San 75 staring Kay Kay Menon and Kirti Kulhari was slated to release on 1 July 2016 but from the looks of it, it won’t hit theaters until later in the year. The film is a stepping stone into the genre of ‘Period Thriller’, which has never been explored and carries a huge youth connect. The film’s plot revolves around a deal of the first mobile phone (prototype) being brought to India with emergency in the background.
A source said,
“The makers haven’t decided the final date of release yet, but the film will now definitely be out some time this year.”
The reason of the delay being the makers want to add the promotional song Ghulaami in the film. The song is ready, but it will take some time to shoot the song and to add it in the film at the right place hence the delay.
Kabir Lovee added,
“We are shooting an exclusive video for Ghulaami and gonna use it for the film promotion. It’s gonna be the next ‘Youth Anthem’ and will showcase India’s history with major events that has effected our great Nation from 1975 till 2016.”
According to the makers the delay in the release of the film will only help in maximizing the effect of the movie. Looks like the wait might be worth it!
