The versatile singer Kanika Kapoor will rock the stage at the IIFA Awards 2016 in Madrid (Spain) later this week in a tribute to the yesteryear actress Zeenat Aman.
The gorgeous and talented singer-composer will be crooning and performing on multiple songs that have defined the sex symbol’s glorious journey in Bollywood. Kanika is a huge fan of Zeenat and she’s a huge admirer of her acting skills and especially the chartbusters she has been featured in.
Accordingly, Kanika has chosen all songs, which she thinks signify the veteran actress including Laila O Laila and Baat Ban Jaaye (Qurbaani), Chura Liya Hai (Yaadon Ki Baarat), Dum Maaro Dum (Hare Rama Hare Krishna), Do Lafzon Ki (The Great Gambler) among others.
Kanika says,
“Besides being a prolific actress, Zeenatji is popularly known for her grace and sensuality. She was a trendsetter in many ways. She never shied away from anything and stood firm by her choices. It’s an absolute honour to perform on her songs since she has been my idol and inspiration.”
