Actress Shraddha Kapoor rocked the ramp for ace fashion designer Masaba Gupta who showcased her latest collection at the ongoing Lakmé Fashion Week 2016!
Masaba’s remarkable collection that won brownie points from the fashion critics was inspired by the iconic works of Matthieu Venot (French photographer) and Katrin Bremermann (German artist).
The designer has incorporated the artists’ detail oriented art with her signature prints, staying true to her aesthetic and style!
Masaba’s latest collection fuses Indian and Western elements. It includes pieces like pencil-shaved frill pre-stitched sarees. Voluminous garbage bag pants, Angarkhas layered with the traditional kurthis, deconstructed blazers with a drape dhoti skirt form. These are some of the key silhouettes for the season.
Masaba made her foray in the fashion industry with the GenNext fashion show at the Lakme Fashion Week 2009. She was awarded the most promising designer and ever since there has been no looking back.
