The scope for Indian actors is widening everywhere in the world. In a recent update we got to know that Chandigarh born , Mumbai based TV host and actor, Karan Singh Chhabra bags an international talk show called Asian Variety Show which telecasts on Sony TV in all the countries of North American continent and other digital platforms worldwide.
Recently a picture went viral on social media when Akshay Kumar disrupted John Abraham during his ongoing shoot for this show to surprise the latter and joined in to play a rapid fire round.
Kareena Kapoor Khan and Arjun Kapoor are the latest to join the bandwagon of Bollywood actors who have been guests on his show. Other Bollywood stars who have been on the hot seat of this show include Akshay Kumar , Sonam Kapoor , Katrina Kaif , Aditya Roy Kapoor , Manoj Bajpayee , Casting Director Mukesh Chhabra , Divya Khosla Kumar , Pulkit Samrat, Yami Gauatm , Richa Chadda , Randeep Hooda , Mika Singh , Alka Yagnik, RajKumar Himarani, Sidharth Malhotra, Fawad Khan and Alia Bhatt .
Chhabra is a Mumbai based Software Engineer by Profession and began his journey as a model on Indian Ramps. He is known as one of the first turbaned models in the Indian fashion industry having walked the runway at Lakme Fashion Week, FDCI Amazon India Couture Week.
His stint in Bollywood began with a film called Chalk n Duster with Juhi Chawla and has appeared in a lot of television soaps such as Savdhaan India , Code Red, Twist Wala Love and MTV Loveschool to name a few.
On being asked about his new show he says,
