The gorgeous Panchi of Pyaar Kii Yeh Ek Kahaanii, Vahbbiz Dorabjee is back to entertain in a whole new avatar. The lovely lady will soon be seen playing the baadi bahu on Life OK’s newest sitcom Bahu Hamari Rajnikant. We sat down for a heart to heart with the actress to find out more about the show. Here is what she had to say!
Your upcoming show,Bahu Hamari Rajnikant sci-fi sitcom.What was your initial reaction on the genre?
When I heard about my character I was really very excited because many people says that I look Punjabi and in this show I am playing the role of Punjabi.I really love to do comedy shows and this genre I have never tried so I am happy.
Tell us a bit about your character.What prompted you to take on the role?
The casting is really good.I really liked my character so there was no reason to refuse this show. Sonali and Amir Jaffar are talented producers.
My look is Punjabi look. From my hair to make up to wardrobe, my style screams Punjabi! I don’t want to reveal much about the show I just want audience to watch this show and they would really love this show.
Most actresses believe that television is the safer medium of entertainment when compared to Bollywood.What is your take on that?
I don’t know about the safer medium but as an actor whether we work on big screen or small screen it is same.Now television is no more an idiot box.Bollywood stars come to promote their movies on television. I am grateful that I am a part of television and whatever I have in my life is only because of television.
What kind of roles would you like to take on in the future?
I am an actor so I would like to experiment.I would like to do negative role in future.
Bahu Hamari Rajnikant is considered to be Pankit Thakkar’s comeback show.What is your take on that?
Pankit Thakker is a very sweet and deserving person.
Tanvi Thakkar and yourself go as far back as Pyaar Kii Yeh Ek Kahanii.How does it feel working with her again?
Our friendship started from the show Pyaar Kii Ek Kahanii .Since five years we both are close friends.So I am happy that we both are again working together.We both are open hearted and talkative people. It’s interesting because playing on screen rivals but off screen we both are best friends.
What challenges have you faced in your career?
Twelve hours you have to shoot and three hours travel so fifteen hours you are out of your house which is a lot of hard work and challenging also because you have to take care of your health,sleep and family.It is very challenging.
If you were given a chance to relieve your life what would you do differently?
I don’t want to change my life.I always wanted to be in this industry and I am living my dream.I love my life.
If not for the entertainment business,what other career path you have chosen?
People say I’m very talkative so I think I would have loved being in the PR business.
What is your message for fans?
I just want to tell my fans that I am back after two years and please give your love and support.Thank you for always being there and watching my work and please watch Bahu Hamari Rajnikant. You guys will love it!
