TV actors Saurabh Pandey,Pankhuri Awasthy and Zara Barring who are co-stars in Siddharth Kumar Tewary’s Suryaputra Karn visited Iskcon temple recently.
Saurabh says,
“Being invited as guest of honor to such a blessed occasion where Iskon completed 50 years was like a divine intervention from God’s side and that too while I am playing Krishna. I don’t call it a coincidence”.
The actor further says,
“I have been associated with Iskcon or in other words associated to Krishna from past 8 years.The love that all the temple people and bramcharis give is so selfless and pure that it ultimately purifies our heart, soul and minds. It is always a soul stirring and divine experience to visit Iskcon temple and other holy places.”
Talking about the experience the actor says,
“Some people already recognized me and once the show anchor introduced me to everyone many parents, kids and visitors surrounded me for photos and were intriguingly asking me so many questions as how you feel playing Krishna, how is it like playing God.I am just doing my service to Krishna as his servant. Their is nothing more I can say other than just being grateful and thankful to God for giving me such a opportunity. I am thankful to my producer Siddharth Kumar Tewary too for making me Krishna“
When we asked Pankhuri about her experience visiting Iskcon temple the actress says,
“I believe in Lord Krishna and on the occasion of the golden anniversary of Iskcon we got the opportunity of being present among thousands of devotees from all across the world.It was fun judging the children’s fancy dress competition.We three of them had a great fun there and brought back lot of memories to cherish”
It looks like this experience was rewarding for all the actors!
