Shruti Haasan decided to play it big this year for her birthday. After spending the day at the NGO supporting a Blind School for kids, She hosted a party the night of on Jan 28 for her closes friends and family in Chennai. Her father Kamal Haasan with his with Gouthami were there having a great time. Also present was Shruti’s sister Akshara Haasan, actress friend Tamannah Bhatia and dialogue writer and TV chat show host Niranjan Iyengar. It wasn’t an elaborate industry do but just a fun party with people closest to Shruti.
She had friends fly down from different parts of the country to be with her on her big day. This party was a celebration of the fantastic year she’s had at the movies in 2015 and doing it in Chennai was because its what she considers home.
