As soon as the clock strikes 12 on the New Year’s Eve, everyone around the world makes resolutions to lose weight. Well, yes! Even Bollywood favorite Nargis Fakhri has vowed to get fitter in 2016 – and started her fitness regime much in advance to kick-start the new year!
Taking fitness to the next level, Nargis is determined to practice new forms of work-outs in the coming year. After combat training, the actress aims to include Tai Chi or Qigong a part of her daily routine. While the fitness icon is very diligent with her workout routine, she will add an element of fun to her fitness regime starting now. Commenting on trying out new fitness activities, Nargis Fakhri says,
“The new ways to work out have caught on in popularity because they are different from your regular gym routine, which makes it a lot of fun. In today’s day and age, there is a wide array of options to choose from – be it Masala Bhangra, Aqua Yoga, CrossFit, Spinning, etc., and activities that are aimed to be fun and engaging, while still offering the benefits of fitness.”
Yoga is another form of exercise that is favored by the stunning actress. It helps her to relax her mind as well as her body. In 2016, Nargis plans to roll out her Yoga mat more often and further her Yoga experience and tone every inch of her body. When it comes to training, Nargis plans to work on muscle strengthening and do 25 push-ups and at least 100 sit ups a day. Moreover, Nargis’s key word for 2016 will be discipline in her fitness. Nargis Fakhri adds to this,
“Being fit is not just about working out and looking good, it’s also about having a positive attitude, making the right fitness choices and participating in activities one enjoys. Fitness is something that disciplines both the mind and the soul and not just the mind and the soul and not just the body.”
Along with planning her new fitness regime, Nargis Fakhri has another resolution of being ‘Fashionably-Fit’. According to her, choosing the right fitness gear and accessory helps you to enhance your fitness activity, thereby maximizing performance and giving you the best results. She adds,
