Colors has been a leading network in providing shows with a meaningful message. With shows such as Balika Vadhu, Udaan and Ishq Ka Rang Safed to its credit, the channel has taken a leap further with Krishnadasi.
In just three weeks, the show has managed to entice the audience with its powerful message concerning Krishnadasis otherwise known as devdasis. Now as Aaradhya (Sana Amin Sheikh) – the daughter of Krishnadasi Tulsi (Chavi Mittal) – returns to Krishnavati after befriending Aaryan (Shravan Reddy), she faces the challenge of proving her worth will eradicating the qualms of the devdasi stigma while keeping the divinity of her mother and grandmother alive.
On the other hand, Aaryan who is in love with Aaradhya, is strictly against the devdasi pratha and has a negative image of devdasis. After insulting Tulsi at a social gathering, he will soon learn that the women of his dreams is in fact Tulsi’s daughter. How will he react to this new finding?
