Manav Kaul loves his Jai Gangaajal experience!

Jai Gangaajal is one of Bollywood’s most highly anticipated movies of 2016 due to Priyanka Chopra starring in the film and playing the role of a cop.  However, although the film is centered on the police force, writer and director, Prakash Jha is sure treating his actors like kings and queens!  Manav Kaul, who has proved his acting prowess with his power-packed performances in films like Kai Po Che, Citylights and Wazir, will be next seen playing the antagonist- Bablu Pandey in the film.  The actor says that he thoroughly enjoyed himself while working on the cop-drama and especially enjoyed working with Prakash Jha.

Talking about his experience of working with Jha on the film, the actor said,

“It’s an honor for me to have got an opportunity to work with Prakash sir and to be a part of this film. I always say that sir has spoiled me because he made me feel so comfortable that I didn’t even realize when the film got over.”

He went on to say,

“He has written Bablu Pandey’s character so beautifully that after finishing my scenes, each day, I would go back to my room and think ‘waah kya scene hua hai’.”

Written and directed by Prakash Jha, produced by Prakash Jha Productions and Play Entertainment and co-produced by Milind Dabke, Jai Gangaajal revisits the dusty heartland of Central India and examines the society–police relationship. Starring Priyanka Chopra, the movie is all set to release on 4th March, 2016. Jai Gangaajal is not a prequel or a sequel to Ajay Devgn starrer Gangaajal but is a fresh story.
