If you are a fan of Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan, there is no doubt that you have seen the movie Karan Arjun! Karan Arjun was directed by Rakesh Roshan, with music by Rajesh Roshan, and released 21 years ago on January 13, 1995.
The film featured both the stars together for the first time in a full-length feature film! If social media had existed back then, there is no doubt the film would have broken the internet with everyone hashtagging the important moment when they got to see their favorite actors together. In the film, Salman (who played Karan) and Shahrukh (who played Arjun) are brothers who completely adore their mother, played by Rakhee. The leading ladies in the film were Mamta Kulkarni opposite Salman Khan and Kajol opposite Shahrukh Khan. All is well in their lives, but then of course, the evil villains intervene and murder the two. However, they are reincarnated, take revenge, and ultimately good triumphs again!
This film helped solidify the friendship between Shahrukh and Salman and made fans go crazy over their bonding. Since then, fans have always wanted to see them together and have wanted their friendship to stay strong. Although they had drifted apart for a short time, in recent years they’ve become really good friends again. In fact, most recently we saw all their masti when Shahrukh promoted Dilwale on Bigg Boss 9, which Salman hosts. Here’s wishing their friendship all the best in reality, and wishing Karan Arjun a Happy 21 years!
