Today marks a great historical step towards digital India. YouTube and Whistling Woods International, Mukta Arts Limited’s film, communication, and media arts school, jointly launched Youtube Space Mumbai, a physical studio space (located in Film City) where people can learn, connect, and create online content on a sharing basis. Subhash Ghai himself was present at the inauguration event, along with global Youtube Space head, Lance Podell, and Youtube India head, Satya Raghavan.
Youtube Space is an international online forum with branches in Los Angeles, New York, London, Tokyo, Sao Paolo, Berlin, Paris, and now Mumbai. Each studio is a unique production facility where YouTubers can come together to create and produce original content. Most spaces also hold workshops and classes on how to generate and market videos in specific categories.
