As anticipation about the release of ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ continues to build leading up to its release on Christmas Day, fans have been asking one very important question: where is Luke Skywalker?
Mark Hamill, who plays Luke, has confirmed his character’s presence in the film, saying that Luke is no longer “the innocent farm boy” he was in earlier Star Wars films. But Luke’s conspicuous absence from promotional material for ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ has fans wondering…could Luke be the forthcoming trilogy’s new arch-villain?
Asked recently by media why the Jedi has been absent, director JJ Abrams responded cryptically,
“These are good questions to be asking. I can’t wait for you to find out the answers.”
We certainly hope those answers are worth the wait!
