The exciting and much awaited world premiere of the epic Star Wars: The Force Awakens releasing on 25th December in India took place at Hollywood Boulevard, Los Angeles with an explosion of celebrity costumes, droids and dresses! If there’s one movie franchise that can get Hollywood to geek out like fans, it’s Star Wars. At the world premiere of “The Force Awakens,” celebrities dressed up in their favorite “Star Wars” costumes on a red carpet that stretched over four blocks on Hollywood Boulevard. A long stretch of Hollywood Boulevard was closed to traffic for days ahead of the unveiling of the film and a huge white tent was erected as fans camped outside for more than a week in anticipation of the first public screening.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt went as Yoda, the powerful Jedi master, while Lupita Nyongo stunned in a bling dress. The night was especially memorable as the leads of the new cast – Daisy Ridley and John Boyega – walked the carpet with the older cast – Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, and Mark Hamill. The Force finally returned to Hollywood as Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill walked the red carpet at the world premiere of the highly-anticipated new Star Wars movie. The trio were joined by an army of Stormtroopers plus C-3PO, R2-D2 and BB-8 for the premiere of Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens.
Undoubtedly this was one of the most memorable premieres of the most awaited films of the century!
