It looks like Akshay Kumar will be making his Tamil film debut!
Sources from the set of Shankar’s ‘Endhiran 2’, a sequel to the massively popular ‘Endhiran’, say that Akshay has been roped in to play the film’s leading baddie!
According to sources, Shankar initially planned to cast Arnold Schwarzenegger opposite Rajnikanth, who will be reprising his role has the film’s lead. But when that deal fell through, Akshay graciously stepped in.
Akshay’s ‘Singh is Bliing’ costar Amy Jackson is playing the female lead in ‘Endhiran 2’; we wonder if she had a hand in convincing Akshay to make the jump to Tamil cinema!
