Abbas Hasan, whose international hit ‘Sweet Girl‘ (Buy on iTunes here)released a few weeks ago is back with a surprise for his fans. The video to Sweet Girl starred Armeena Khan the Sprite brand ambassador and star of the movie ‘Bin Roye’. The singer announced on his Instagram the release of the ‘Sweet Girl Club Mix‘. The French star said he would also release some unseen footage from behind the scenes on the epic video shoot. The remix takes the song’s middle-eastern essence along with an old-school garage vibe to create something completely new.
Regarding the release, Abbas Hasan shared the following: “I thought my Habibis should have a club version of the song to dance to during the holidays. We had so much fun shooting the video so I know they’re going to love having a sneak peak at the behind-the-scenes. I loved working on this remix with Naamless, and it’s cool to take something like Sweet Girl and give it a completely different sound and feeling.”
The artist has also been making headlines for recently signing as a global ambassador for the Pan-Asian International Film and Music Awards (PAIFMA) as well as being the new face of luxury fashion brand Mastrioni. This must come as no surprise to Abbas, who has modeled for Manish Malhotra, won the ‘Artist of the Year’ award in Canada last year, toured with Shahrukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra and Shreya Ghoshal, and even headlined at the Times of India Film Awards.
If that’s what his 2015 was like, I for one am definitely looking forward to following his career in 2016!
