Every year, Christian children around India wait for one thing – Grandma’s Christmas visit. Ironically, that is the one visit they also dread the most. While Grandma is keen on bringing homemade goodies, lots of money and presents, there is one thing you wish that Grandma would forget to pack – the red sweater.
No matter how busy Grandma may be, she always manages to find a set of horrid red sweaters with snowmen, Christmas trees and all kinds of fuzzy warm décor for the whole family. What’s worst, you are obligated to put on that blood red sweater and parade it around the house for Christmas dinner. If you don’t, you are subject to Grandma’s famous “this could be my last Christmas” speech.
At the end of the day, we all love Grandma and are willing to put on that hideous red sweater to see a smile on her face.
