Yash Raj Films productions Mardaani, Dum Laga Ke Haisha and with MSM Motion Pictures, Piku are being showcased at the most popular event in Japan, the Indian Film Festival Japan!
After fascinating the Russian audience at the Indian Film Festival Russia last month, YRF continues it’s success and taking Indian cinema to a worldwide audience at the on-going film festival in Japan from October 9 to the 23.
This year the Indian Film Festival Japan opened with screening the most loved film of the year, Piku on October 9. The 2015 hit and critically acclaimed film has already won laurels at Indian Film Festivals in Russia and Australia.
Director Sharat Katariya has also graced this special event for the full capacity screening of his largely adored and appreciated film Dum Laga Ke Haisha which took place on October 10.
And lastly, the much admired and praised Yash Raj Film movie Mardaani, will be screened later this week!
Vice President of International Operations at YRF Avtar Panesar shared his thoughts,

It’s heart-warming to see native audiences connect with our films through festivals , which eventually lead to commercial releases.
