The 4 leading ladies of ABC!

This past week, three of ABC’s most anticipated shows returned along with one of them premiering this past Sunday! What stands out the most out of all four of these shows are that each show is led by strong powerful women.

Surprisingly or unsurprisingly the first three shows and characters come from the infamous television producer and writer Shonda Rhimes! The fourth show on the list is the producer of Gossip Girl –Joshua Safran and now writer-producer of Quantico!

1. Kerry Washington in Scandal!

I religiously have been following Scandal since day one and I have always been a huge Kerry or should I say Olivia Pope fan.

Olivia is strong-minded, powerful and manipulating for the better! The series takes place in Washington DC and focuses on Olivia Pope’s crisis management firm – Olivia Pope and Associates, and her strong involvement at the White House, which includes President Fitzgerald Grant and many other important White House members plus her staff.

This show never fails to create a HUGE hype Thursday after Thursday and constantly has viewers at the edge of their seats. There hasn’t been a single Thursday viewers aren’t spending 10 pm with red wine and popcorn!

2. Viola Davis in How to Get Away With Murder!

I don’t watch this show too often, but have seen enough episodes to say WOW! Viola Davis, the first African American to win the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series, really deserved this title as her performance in this series is truly outstanding!

Viola plays the role of Annalise Keating a brilliant, charismatic and seductive professor of defense law, who teaches a class called How to Get Away With Murder. Annalise, is also a criminal defense attorney, and selects a group of students to assist with cases at her firm alongside her employees. From here on mysteries arise that test everyone’s limits and reveal dark truths.

It’s intense and nerve-wrecking and another ABC Thursday favorite!

3.  Ellen Pompeo in Greys Anatomy!

The ongoing Medical TV show series since 2005 is now into their 12th season and Ellen Pompeo who plays the role of Meredith Grey who is constantly struggling to maintain her work and personal relations, particularly the hospital’s one-time chief of surgery, Richard Webber, due to a previous relationship between them.

The medical drama series focuses on a group of doctors at a hospital in Seattle, including several who began their careers at the facility as interns.

Since 2005 this Thursday drama is everyone’s favorite series and comfort to watch!

4. Priyanka Chopra in Quantico!

The new television series that just premiered this past Sunday trended worldwide on Twitter and was a super hit on the first show! Priyanka plays the role of an American-Indian, Alex Parish, a rookie and FBI agent.

The show so far has kick started at such an intense place, all the fans are all ready for the next episode.
