Jai Matt gives you ‘Played Out’

Last Thursday, the very talented Jai Matt, an up and coming Urban Asian Artist released an EP titled Played Out with the magnificent Dr. Srimix. There are three tracks on this EP of played out tracks that have been given a new twist. And these tune are quite different and ones you want to press the replay button. It’s got the flavor of Asian sounds with an Urban feel. I particularly love all three but the one that I enjoyed the most was ‘Cheerleader'(Teri Baton) Ft. Aditya Rao! Brought back some flash back memories to Raghav’s original track which got my shoulders moving. It also had a trumpet sound which got me moving my body, bit of Urban, Jazz, and Bollywood and you got yourself a good tune!

EP Album Jai Sri Final

The First track, “Devil Mera Trap Queen,” is a grungy, dark song with a light feel at the same time. Second track, “Where Are U Now (Chand Sitaare)” provides a nice ballad and allows one to reminiscence about the classic Chand Sitaare. The beautiful lyrics just tug at your heart. The last and final track, “Cheerleader (Teri Baaton)” featuring Aditya Rao brings the bright summery feel to the EP. The summer hit “Cheerleader,” the memorable “Teri Baaton Mein” and “Mitwa” are perfectly mashed together. Talk about a triple mashup! Check it out for yourself and tell us what you think! Are you feeling the groove to these tunes?

This is all the build up to the next major release by Jai Matt and Dr. Srimix called “Habibi Aaya Hai.” Check out the promo here!
