You could say this Indian Kid got super lucky and indeed he did! Our Co-Founder Miss Roshni had the chance to head on over to the IMG Academy which is based in Florida earlier this weekend and meet the first Indian-Born NBA basketball player to make it into the NBA. That’s a huge accomplishment considering cricket is one of the biggest sports but now India is about to have another sport which is about to make the nation go crazy! Yes, it’s Basketball!
Satnam Singh had a chance to speak to me after he got drafted into the NBA with the Dallas Mavericks and how it felt hearing the announcement along with what he has done to get here and what it means to him and his parents. He also told us how hard he worked to get to his reaching point and making his dreams come true.
