Talk about dream collaborations! Apparently, the gods of music are on our side because Urban / Bollywood singer Raghav has managed to create a new single – “Until The Sun Comes Up” – with hip hop artist Nelly and Bollywood superstar Abhishek Bachchan! If anyone else had told me this news, I would have thought they were kidding, but Raghav himself announced the news!

When asked about how excited he is for this new release, Raghav told me,
“This is the most exciting single release for me since my first ever (so confused).. I get the sense the world is ready for a new wave of Asian music and I hope people will look years from now at this song being a singular moment in when east and west collaborated in a way that has a true global musical impact. Abhishek is the most talented human I’ve ever met and Nelly is a legend who lifts the song to a place only he can. I hope people love it.”
Raghav is the Canadian singing sensation who shot to fame with unique tracks like “Can’t Get Enough” and “So Confused“, but solidified his place in the world of music in India with his breakout track “Ishq Shava” from the blockbuster Jab Tak Hain Jaan by Yash Raj Films. The film was Yash Chopra’s last directorial venture before his passing, and the track itself was filmed on superstar Shahrukh Khan. It remains one of the most popular tracks from the film. Abhishek Bachchan is known more for his acting, but did lend his rhymes to the track “Right Here Right Now” a few years ago. The song was very popular and Bachchan received praise for his rap. As for Nelly, he is one of the most well-known hip hop artists in the US. He is known most for his track “Hot in Herre,” but has numerous other popular tracks to his credit. The combination of these three superstars from three different worlds is sure to be amazing. I for one, cannot wait “Until The Sun Comes Up” and the track releases!
