Actress-turned-politician, the “Dream Girl”, Hema Malini got into an accident on Thursday July 2nd, 2015 while on her way to Jaipur from Mathura. Reports are out saying that her Mercedes collided with an Alto. In very tragic news, the accident resulted in the death of a young child (some reports have quoted her as young as 2-years old, while others around 4 or 5-years old), who was one of the occupants in the Alto. The four other occupants of the Alto have also been severely injured and are hospitalized in Dausa, where the accident took place.
As for the actress herself, she too has been treated for injuries to her head, and has been admitted to Fortis Hospital (Jaipur). Although Hemaji was able to walk in unaided, due to the head injuries, she required additional tests. Stitches were required near her nose, and further tests, including a CT scan, were conducted on her. It has been reported that her condition is now stable. Hemaji’s driver also got injured and has suffered leg injuries.
