Dill Mill Gayye’s Pankit Thakker falls victim of a digital mishap!

The Internet is the perfect example of the age old warning, do not believe everything you read. At recent, actor Pankit Thakker became a victim of a digital mishap when Google search engine misreported his age. The actor who is in fact in his mid thirties, is reported to be 40 as per the search engine. While the site of the source is unknown, the search engine also has his birthday completely incorrect. According to the search engine, his birthday is January 1st, when in fact he shares his birthday with Bollywood’s Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan (March 14).

When we contacted Pankit Thakker, he too was in for a surprise

“Well I am just 30 something and it is kind of funny that I am put in the same age bracket as some of the veterans in the industry.”

While this may be a minor mishap, it goes to show that not everything reported on websites should be easily believed.

Rumor has it that the young actor is a part of two of the most very interesting television shows which are slated to hit the screen later this year. First one is for Disney Channel India titled Gabbar and the second biggie show is a scientific sit com for Star Network.

Known for thinking outside the box and delivering successful shows like Kabhi Sautan Kabhi Saheli, Special Squad, Dill Mill Gayye (where in he was also nominated for the best actor in a comic role) and most recently Kis Din Mera Viyaah Howega, it would be interesting to see what the talented actor has got up his sleeve this time around.
