Shalu Shreya, the person responsible for bringing Gajraa to life shares with us who Gajraa is, in what ways she is like Shalu and why in reality she isn’t afraid of Munna Mama at all! What attracted you to the character Gajraa?

Gajraa is very sweet, simple and reliable. She is a combination of innocence and maturity all in one.

Are you like Gajraa at all?

Yes of course because she is very kind hearted.

Of the characters you have played in the past which is the closest to your heart?
Anuja which I played in Badalte Rishton Ki Dastan on Zee TV because she was totally like me – naughty, jolly, fun loving and lively.

The audience is really loving Sumer and Gajraa’s jodi. What can we expect from the two in the future?

First of all thank you for the love and appreciation. There is definitely something good in store for our fans, for that you will have to stay tuned in to the show. The more people love us the more we would get an opportunity to entertain them. So keep loving and we will work hard to return every bit of that love.

Which of your co-stars are you closest to?

Shubhangi Latkar who played my mom in my last show Do Dil Bandhe Ek Dori Se on Zee TV and now here Rehan Sayed (Sumer) and Kirtida Mistry (Shraddha).

What is one funny incident you can recall from the sets of Piya Rangrezz?

While shooting a combination scene, Munna Mama cracked a joke and all of us busted out laughing and just couldn’t control our laughter and we shot the entire scene like that only trying really hard to control our laughter.
