Amit Tandon and Divyanka Tripathi’s controversial click causes uproar!

Actors Amit Tandon and Divyanka Tripathi have always steered clear of controversy but when Amit Tandon uploaded a picture of himself choking Divyanka Tripathi all hell broke loose.

While most fans understood the context of the click in which not Amit but rather his character Subbu from Yeh Hai Mohabbatein was grabbing a hold of Ishita’s neck for revenge, others simply called the image distasteful without understanding the full context.

The picture indirectly raised the issue of violence against women in India.  In response to the comments, Amit Tandon too it to Instagram once again to clear the air.

While it is important  that actors, as role models for society, take caution while posting certain images it is also the responsibility of the audiences to understand the full context of an image, video or clip prior to passing judgement on it. So let’s all be responsible viewers enjoy the show and “do not try this at home.”
