Senior Supreme Court Lawyer Harish Salve turned out to be a guardian angel for a Salman Khan who was setenced to five years in jail for the 2002 hit and run case. Unfortunetly, the troubles still remain.
Salve appeared in the Bombay High Court and argued for the actor after a Mumbai Sessions Court sentenced him 5 years of rigorous imprisonment in the 2002 hit-and-run case. The senior lawyer got the interim bail for Salman within 10 minutes, however, a special leave petition has been filed against the actor seeking cancellation of the bail.
Petition claims that the Bombay High Court rushed the decision to grant the actor bail and therefore should be revoked.
Salman, who is referred to as one of the most bankable stars in Bollywood, was sentenced for culpable homicide not amounting to murder and then granted two days interim bail to gather himself before further preceedings.
