Over the last few years, we’ve seen more and more artists emerge into the music scene in Bollywood. One of the youngest rappers to enter is Deane Sequeira, who has worked with renowned Bollywood music directors, arrangers and programmers including Pritam, Manmeet Bros-Anjaan, Sachin-Jigar, Vipin Patwa, Sameer, Arya Acharya, StyleBhai, Dj Kiran Kamat, Jai-Parthiv, Prasad Shaste and many more.
Besides working with such music stalwarts of the industry, this young rapper lent her voice to big banner Bollywood productions such as ABCD (“Bezubaan” with Mohit Chauhan, Holiday for Sonakshi Sinha, and Purani Jeans – Out of Control Munde with Mika and Suzanne D’mello. She also sang for the movies Luv U Soniyo (Official Mash up) and Dhoom 3 and many soon to be released Bollywood songs. Saregama – Sabse Bhala Rupaiya was one of her tracks that did especially well.
Besides being involved in many Bollywood projects, Sequeira has some original music as well. Her Hip-Hop Dance singles “Random“, “Only Mine” and “Nobody Cares” released through Hungama-Artist Aloud. Since she is so young, her talent will definitely only ripen with time! Sequeira is someone who has really secured her spot in the world of music.
