Colors’ Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi shocked its viewers after it took a six month leap. After the leap, we saw Ranveer (Shakti Arora) unhappily married to Ritika (Smriti Khanna), who is now 8 months pregnant. They pretend to be a happy couple to the outside world, but otherwise behave like strangers. Ranveer still has not gotten over Ishaani (Radhika Madan), who is stuck in jail for murdering Chirag (Ravjeet Singh).
Ishaani has been sentenced to death and in the coming episodes, we will see that a lawyer named Shikhar (Arjun Bijlani) will enter the show and will fight Ishaani’s case. Arjun recently told a leading daily, “The role is of a lawyer named Shikhar, who is a casanova. He has faced a lot of pain in the past which is why he doesn’t believe in love. However, he takes up Ishaani’s case who has been sentenced to death and saves her.”
It will be left to be seen why Shikhar takes on Ishaani’s case and what will happen after Ishaani is out of jail. Will Ranveer and Ishaani clear their misunderstanding or will Ranveer end up moving on with Ritika? Let us know what you think in the comment section below.
