When someone says sky is the limit, Vistaar Film Fund’s Managing Director, Sheetal Talwar takes it quite literally. They are all set to create history with the completion of their production of the major sci-fi film Genesis, being directed by Bart Ruspoli and Freddie Hutton-Mills.
Genesis, stars John Hannah of The Mummy trilogy, Four Weddings and a Funeral fame, Olivia Grant who starred in Stardust and Mr.Nice, Ben Shafik of Cryptic and Devil’s double fame and Amrita Acharia who featured in Games Of Thrones and Ed Stoppard of The Pianist and Joy Division fame, adding to an additional stellar cast. Genesis marks the second feature of the directors, after the hit 2014 comedy-horror film Cryptic.
“This is a dream project for both Bart and Myself, we are very excited to be working with Vistaar, Sheetal and Bhavna. We are positive of that the film is going to set a new benchmark in the manner in which Sci-fi as a genre is treated” said director Freddie Hutton-Mill.
The film is being produced by Sheetal Talwars’ Vistaar Film Fund along with Next Level Films co-owned by Ruspoli and Hutton-Mill. Filmmaker-Producer Bhavna Talwar (WSG Pictures) and Kirsty Bell (Goldfinch) are Executive producing this magnum opus film. Kirsty Bell, Goldfinch, UK orchestrated this highly anticipated sci-fi feature.

Genesis marks the second major international project this year being produced by Sheetal Talwar (Vistaar Film Fund) and Bhavna Talwar (WSG Pictures), following the success of ‘The Eichmann Show’ starring Martin Freeman, which was recently acquired by the Weinstein Company. “Our agenda is to back good cinema, irrespective of its language or where it may be from.” concludes Director-Producer, Bhavna Talwar, WSG Pictures.
