Star Plus’ Yeh Hai Mohabbatein is leaving no stone unturned to amp up the drama. As we recently saw, Ashok (Sangram Singh) found out that Mihika (Mihika Verma) is not pregnant and he is furious that she had him fooled him all this time. He decides he’s going to get revenge from her. He takes away her phone and locks her up in the bedroom.
In the upcoming episodes, we will see that Ashok will try to get intimate with Mihika, however, she will refuse him. He will then try to force himself on her. Luckily, Mihika will be able to run out of the bedroom and at that moment, Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi), Mihir (Raj Singh Arora) and Simmi (Shireen Mirza) will show up at the house due to some work. Mihika will spot Ishita and run into her arms. She will relate everything that happened, which will make the trio very angry. Simmi will confront Ashok and slap him, while Mihir will start beating him up.
Ishita will take Mihika to the police station to file a complaint of rape, however, the police officer will deny filing the complaint as Mihika and Ashok are married. This new track will raise awareness for marital rape, which is often not looked upon as rape in our country and it is quite a prevalent problem. Finally, Ishita will give the officer a piece of her mind by promising to take strict action if he does not file the complaint. Eventually they will arrest Ashok, however, he will be bailed out by Suraj (Vineett Kumar).
