Raj Kumar Hirani’s friendship with Sanjay Dutt is well known and we’ve already heard that Hirani plans on creating a biopic on the actor with Ranbir Kapoor in the lead. But is there another film being made on Sanjay Dutt and his wife Manyata Dutt? Madhur Bhandarkar’s Madamji seems to be loosely inspired by the life of Manyata Dutt!
Starring Priyanka Chopra in the lead the film is about an item girl who turns into a politician while her star husband destroys evidence of her past. Apparently the husband has to personally request of buy off scandalous footage of his wife to keep it all under wraps.
While nothing has been confirmed, but the buzz is totally making the rounds. Many are saying that there will be shades of gray that will resemble Manyata’s life and it is not shown in a disrespectful way. Well, all of that is yet to be seen! We can’t wait to see Madamji releasing later in 2015.
