A statement was made by actress and host Gauahar Khan earlier yesterday on accusations which stated that her attack was a staged act. This is not true. Earlier today she released a statement stating the thoughts of it being a staged act. Here is what she had to say.
This is my one and only response to the most ridiculous claim made by an accused who attacked me, went to jail for it and came out only to prove even more what a threat he is to normal living in India for girls, and also the weak stature even the media gives to a girl who especially belongs to the film or TV world..what this man is claiming is a clear attempt to get away from the heinous crime he committed.. It’s absolutely bogus and a very poorly staged and filmy story obviously recommended by people who believe that our law will let him get away with such baseless stories.i have never in my life met this man before I saw him charging at me on India’s Raw Star finale.
I don’t want to Give him the 2 secs of fame he desperately wants by clarifying any of his rubbish claims. I trust the law fully and know that, that’s where I’ll get justice for the trauma I have had to go through because of his desperate need to want to be famous at the cost of my pain and name.. I request the media to be responsible before making headlines Just to catch eyes.. This is someone’s life your playing with… I have worked very hard to make a respectful name and career and the media is giving this loser his 2 secs of fame on the basis of his baseless claims and that too at the cost of my name that I have put more than 10 years of hard work in.. I can prove every point made him stand untrue with proof but this guy only deserves to face the law alone.. I request all, if you can’t feel my pain at least don’t be a part of the pain caused.. He’s a liar and so shall be proved in the court of law.. Stop the sensationalism..
So do you think she really staged this act on a reality show which was just about to end? We don’t think so. From Deepika Padukone to Gauhar Khan are actors lowering themselves by staging such acts in the media? Actors don’t need to such things to build a brand.
