Nominated for 9 Oscars and winner of the Golden Globes, Birdman which stars Micheal Keaton as a former on-screen superhero trying to revive his acting career, is all set to release January 30th! The film also stars Zach Galifianakis, Edward Norton, Andrea Riseborough, Amy Ryan, Emma Stone, and Naomi Watts. What’s interesting is that the movie looks like it was filmed in one take due to some judicious camera cuts. Though the director wanted to film in one take it didn’t happen because apparently Emma Stone kept screwing up the movie according to the actress!
“It was hard. It was definitely hard,” Stone told about Iñárritu’s unique technique. “And I screwed it up, quite a few times. And I was just so sick to my stomach, waiting for them to do the scene, hearing how good this take was going to be and then coming in, and going around the corner too fast and ruining it. Alejandro goes, ‘You’re ruining the movie!’ and then you go, ‘Oh, my god,’ ” Stone said laughing. Catch the hugely anticipated movie on 30th January!!
