The hugely anticipated comedy drama Birdman co-written, produced, and directed by Alejandro González Iñárrituhas has won the Golden Globes for Best Actor in a Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy and Best Screenplay! Micahel Keaton won Best Actor award and Alejandro González Iñárritu, Nicolás Giacobone, Alexander Dinelaris, Armando Bo won Best Screenplay – Motion Picture for the movie.
Starring Michael Keaton with Zach Galifianakis, Edward Norton, Andrea Riseborough, Amy Ryan, Emma Stone, and Naomi Watts, Birdman will open the first month of 2015 with a bang at the cinemas releasing on 30th January in India. The film, starring Michael Keaton as a former superhero-playing actor trying to recharge his career with a Broadway play, was nominated for seven Golden Globes on Thursday morning, leading all films. Birdman was nominated for best comedy or musical, best actor in a comedy or musical (Keaton), best supporting actor (Edward Norton), best supporting actress (Emma Stone), best director (Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu), screenplay and score.
Keaton plays a faded Hollywood actor famous for his superhero role struggling to mount a Broadway adaptation of a Raymond Carver story.
