Although Fagun Thakrar has had a chance to work with Hollywood actors, she is still desi at heart, and admits that she has been a Salman Khan fan for a very long time. She reveals that she has been Salman’s fan, since she she was a child. A cute story she shared is that she remembers her mom saying that one of the first names she pronounced correctly was Salman Khan – such was her love and admiration towards the actor. She has watched all his movies.
Fagun trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and performed in the West End in London. She has performed in several Shakespeare plays, including playing the lead of Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, before being chosen for Bhopal: A Prayer For Rain. Having worked with veteran actors like Martin Sheen, Kal Penn, Mischa Barton, etc., she has also appeared in a number of commercials representing some of the biggest cosmetic brands across the globe. Fagun is currently working on her upcoming film alongside Donald Sutherland.
Fagun is here in India for a couple of months and is planning a meeting with the superstar. Let’s see if she becomes Salman’s next lead actress in 2015!
