Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Highway’ bags its first award!

When a film gets awards on something other than costume designing, production, direction or even props which are usually the main awards for any film then you wonder what other awards can a film get? The much talked about film of 2014 release ‘Highway’, directed by Imtiaz Ali, received rave reviews from the critics and the audience. Alia Bhatt’s performance stunned one and all and was touted to be one of the best of the year! The film has already bagged its first award, that for its website! Awards that give Digital recognition are the best as they show how well the audience enjoys the look of the film and the outline of the website – and looks like Highway was right into par with those tactics. Any film that launches products or a website can take it’s brand to another level by allowing the audience know what else is in store for them besides the actual film. Highway was able to pursue that with the help of a major agency based out of Mumbai.

The first award came for the Outstanding Website Award in Entertainment for ‘Highway’ at the Digital Marketing Conclave Awards 2014. The film’s website was created by Everymedia Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and was appreciated by all digitally engaged fans. The film’s director Imtiaz Ali got the news later since he was shooting for his next film. An ecstatic Imtiaz revealed,
