The upcoming romantic musical film inspired by a true love story from the 80’s, Jigariyaa launches its new song ‘Arziyaan’. The video shows lead actors Harshvardhan Deo and Cherry Mardia portray their intense undying love for each other. In today’s day and age, this song takes you to an era of pure love and innocence. The song is about Shaamu’s deeply wounded heart calling out to his lover Radha. Passionately written shaayari for this song, “kehte hai ishq khuda hai, dua hai, wafaa hai; kal agar tum nahi aayi, toh ishq fanna hai”, touches the right chords of every romantic music lover. Lyrics written by Faraaz Ahmed, crooned by Vikrant Bhartiya and Aishwarya Majmudar along with beautiful music by Raj-Prakash, the video takes you through the gorgeous scenery of Mathura and Agra.
Directed by Raj Purohit produced by Raju Chadha and Vinod Bachchan, introducing Harshvardhan Deo and Cherry Mardia in lead roles. The film is written by Raj Purohit and Apratim Khare based on true events. Based in Agra circa 1988-89, Jigariyaa is scheduled for release on October 10, 2014.
