Pakistan’s latest export to Bollywood, heartthrob Fawad Khan, is all praise for our very own handsome hunk Ali Zafar who has been successful in making his mark in the Indian film industry. In a recent interview, Khan said there was not and should not be any comparison between the two as
“Ali has craved a niche for himself”.
Khan went on to shower praise on Zafar, saying,
“I’ve been his fan since much before he came to Bollywood. He has got all the elements working for him.
Khan said he was a huge supporter of Zafar but that there was no competition between them. He said,
“He has his own things, his own way. I’m a new entrant and I have to give myself time to see how long I will last.”
Khan’s Bollywood debut, Khoobsurat, is nearing its release. On the other hand, Zafar is working on his next Bollywood project ‘Kill Dil’ as well as his first home production in Pakistan. Khan and Zafar have a few things in common. Both started as musicians and later ventured into acting. In fact, initially it was Zafar who was offered the role in Lollywood hit ‘Khuda Ke Liye’ that was later played by Khan. Zafar debuted in Bollywood with the critically acclaimed ‘Tere Bin Laden’ that got him noticed immediately. His music and acting have both earned him laurels across the border. His second film was Yash Raj Films’s ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’ with Katrina Kaif and Imran Khan, which was a huge hit!
