Sunidhi Chauhan has just rocked her birthday with another celebration by launching her song in a major film! Sunidhi Chauhan has sang for a biopic and the tune has released on her birthday! Bollywood’s latest sports biopic ‘Mary Kom’ has given India the season’s Super-hit songs which are currently topping the charts. To add to the list, the makers have launched the video of the third song Adhure today. The video of the song portrays the emotions of ‘Mary Kom’, played compellingly by Priyanka Chopra, as she overcomes hurdles to accomplish her dream.
Lyricist Prashant Ingole paints a vivid picture with the lyrics,
“Geela geela paani bas palkon pe reh gaya; Dheere dheere sapna woh aankhon se beh gaya; Thoda thoda kar, yaadein saari kho rahin; Toota sa pal ek hath mein reh gaya.”
Sunidhi’s voice and Shashi Suman’s impeccable composition adds soul to it.
Adhure is an intensely emotional track that speaks of deep pain and grueling hardships. The music video shows Priyanka’s fight against daunting obstacles and builds up to her glorious victory. Heart-wrenching and cathartic all at once, the video takes the viewers on a roller coaster of emotions and brings out a wistful smile in the end.
‘Mary Kom’, the film is about the Indian Boxer and Olympic Bronze medallist MC Mary Kom. Depicting her life, struggles, family and her perseverance to be the best – Priyanka Chopra stars as Mary Kom along with Darshan Kumaar, Sunil Thapa, Shishir Sharma and American actor Zachary Coffin. Directed by Omung Kumar, ‘Mary Kom’ is produced by Viacom18 Motion Pictures & Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The film is scheduled for release on September 5, 2014.
