An intriguing vision presented by Anita Nandwani and Yatin Nandwani of Swami Samarth Creations, Trip To Bhangarh will release on the 29th of August. It essentially revolves around the chronicles of Bhangarh, as the movie is based on the events of a trip that a group of ex-college friends plan to an unfaithful place. There was something sinister about the place that the director, Jitender Pawar wanted to explore. But it was a drastic real life experience that compelled him to write a story on it. It is set in one of the most mysterious places of India, a place called Bhangarh, in Rajasthan.
The movie begins with a college reunion party, where five friends meet each other after two long years. Jai, a journalist, was a music freak in his college days, where his music impressed any and everyone who heard it. He’s someone ‘s who’s always been the fun-loving and adventurous type, and a true college heartthrob. Jadooo – a photographer and a certified flirt, who misses no chance to fool pretty young girls with false dreams of stardom, is a facebook addict. On the other hand, Ashu is a sales executive, and has a way with words like no one else, as even his seniors come nowhere close when it comes to being matched for his incredible wit. Golu is a couch potato in it’s true sense, who loves to eat and does absolutely nothing except an occasional visit to his father’s company. But, Golu has a wicked sense of humor and is famous throughout his college for his double meaning jokes. Kavya being the first female member of the group, is a complete tomboy at heart, who’s out-going and confident. She is a no-nonsense girl, who can beat the guys at their own games. Prachi is a typical girl who’s a friend of Jai and she’s very possessive who always wants Jai to be with her. She’s known to have frequent arguments with Jai, especially when he fails to follow her instructions.
These friends meet each other at a reunion party on the retirement of their college principal, as they discover a unique place In Asia, called Bhangarh. It is situated near a fort in the district of Alwar in Rajasthan, just 3 hours from Delhi. After the party, the group begin to research this place on internet and decide to plan a Trip to Bhangarh, just out of the virtue of being curious to know what it’s like. During this trip, they discover it’s history and a few unique qualities about the place as they face strange twist and turns along the journey. It is those interesting & mysterious twists which lead the story to a breath-taking climax.
