Nimrat Kaur who was last seen in the international hit film The Lunchbox, alongside Irrfan Khan is back with a new role on the American television show “Homeland!”
The lovely actress shot The Lunchbox 2 years ago and has been waiting for the perfect role since then, she was selective in her choices and says she may have turned down almost 450 scripts! She says she wasn’t trying to be fussy but nothing seemed right. The new show has her hard at work shooting in Cape Town. The actress will play a Pakistani ISI agent on the show which is an American political thriller surrounding the CIA. The actress said that shooting for this show is very different than her work in The Lunchbox because in the movie she was able to prepare more for her scenes, but in this show she doesn’t know the scene until she arrives at the shoot location so not much time to prepare.
We’re sure Nimrat is going to do just great on “Homeland” and be sure to catch the show on Showtime!
