India’s pop music icon Daler Mehndi performed at the world’s largest India Day Parade held by the Federation of Indian Associations (FIA) in New York City this Independence Day. Performing before an audience of over two lakh people, Daler Mehndi had the streets of New York ringing with his signature tune, ‘Tunak Tunak’.
Receiving continuous encore requests for his most famous track till date, Daler Mehndi obliged the audience’s demand and went on to perform ‘Tunak Tunak’ an astounding fifteen times. The audience danced with incredible energy and sang along with the highly talented artist. The famous Nagpur band even requested Daler Mehndi to perform his latest and first Marathi song ’Morya Morya’.
Bollywood actresses Sagarika Ghatge and Zarine Khan were also seen dancing on stage alongside Daler Mehndi while he belted out some of his all-time pop hits.
