And now superstar Salman Khan is all set to release his film this week worldwide on EID! Check out what he had to say about the film!

Q: Did you enjoy working with Jacqueline Fernandez?

A: Of course! She has this beautiful energy to her; she’s very funny and very witty. She is also extremely talented as an actress, and we got on really well on the set.

Q:  In the famous ‘Kick’ dialogue you say Main dil mein aata hoon, samajh mein nahin – is this how you would describe yourself?

A: Actually this dialogue was written by Sajid [director] and I think it describes what he thinks about me.

Q:  You sang for the song ‘Hangover’. Do you consider yourself as a good singer?

A: To be honest, I think I’m a really bad singer, but I don’t care. If I want to sing – I will sing and I can sing about pretty much everything. But I don’t like to be put in the limelight and told to sing; then I get hesitant. I like to sing on my own.

Q: Did you always want to be a film star?

A: No, I wanted to be a movie director. But everyone, who I showed my scripts to, told me I should be an actor. So I decided to try that, and if I may say so myself, I think I’ve succeeded.

Q: You’re one of the biggest Bollywood stars. Do you ever think you can get lost in the stardom?

A: No, I don’t even know what a star is. I don’t think about things like that. I believe that the more contemplative you are about it, the more you get used to it, even your eyes get used to it. When you start feeling like the stardom is fading away that’s when the frustration kicks in. Your life becomes boring and disappointing. As a human being you become vindictive and complex. I think it is best not to think about it and just go with the flow.

Q: Are you nervous about ‘Kick’s’ release?

A: I don’t get nervous before the release of films. I just pray that the hard work which we put in, shows. If the audience can see and appreciate it, then I’m happy and satisfied with myself and the whole crew.

Q: Which song do you prefer Jumme Ki Raat or Devil?

A: I can’t choose. Both of them have amazing choreography. Jumme Ki Raat turned out to be kick-ass whereas Devil is more edgy and sexy. Both Jacqueline and Nargis performed really well in those dance numbers.
