Shraddha on her early success for EK Villian!

Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor is on cloud nine after receiving much appreciation for her song and her look in her upcoming film ‘Ek Villain’ along with Sidharth Malhotra. Just like Alia Bhatt who sang ‘Sooha saha…’ in ‘Highway’, Shraddha Kapoor too made her singing debut with the song ‘Galliyan…’ in the film.

Looks like B-town actors are turning singers and singers turing actors! We have a few multi-talented actors in the scene don’t we now!

In a recent interview when the actress was asked about her singing experience in the movie, and whether she had taken any special lessons for it Shraddha said,

“My training for this song has been minimal. It has been very kuccha-pakka. I come from a musical family, my mom’s side has a lot of singers… so I guess I get this little bit of talent from there.”

When asked if she is following Alia’s steps in Bollywood, the actress said that though she hasn’t heard the ‘Highway’ song, she has heard a lot about it. What’s more, Shraddha is glad that she got an opportunity to sing.

“I haven’t got the time to hear Alia’s song since I have been very busy with my shooting schedules. But I heard that she was very well appreciated for her song. It’s a good thing that actors can sing for themselves. If you can, then why not!” the actress replied.

And now, when she was asked about the compliments she has received from her alleged beau and ‘Aashiqui 2’ co-actor Aditya Roy Kapur, Shraddha said,

“Yes Aditya heard my song. He really liked it and said that he listens to it many times a day.”

Many times a day? Someone is falling for her and her music more than we thought! Aditya, what is going on are you in LOVE with the Voice or HER?

And singing is not the only new thing the actress has tried her hands on in her upcoming film as she revealed in the interview that she learnt to ride a bike for this film. She revealed,

“I learnt to ride a bike just for this film. I fell more than 7-8 times from the Bullet I was riding, got burns and bruises too.”

She further discussed her character Aisha in EK VILLAIN, revealing,

“Aisha tries to be this rainbow between the two shades of grey (Sidharth and Riteish). She is talking nonstop. Cracking silly jokes and laughing herself at them.”

‘Ek Villain’ directed by Mohit Suri is slated to release on June 2!
