As the 15th International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) gains momentum and excitement for the Weekend and Awards build up, organizers released the OFFICIAL IIFA TAMPA MUSIC TRACK. A funky new track Titled Do Da Tampa, the song hopes to capture the excitement of IIFA in Tampa, Florida set to take place a week from today, April 23rd- 26th.
The song has taken the best of Indian and Tampa influences and is rendered by with DJ RAVIDRUMS featuring Tampa’s own GUMBI ORTIZ, and produced by LA DRUM CARTEL (Ravidrums & Craig Dobbin). DJ RaviDrums is said to have invented the “Live Re-Mix” DJ’ing and Drumming simultaneously. Having performed from Oscars, Oprah, Playboy Mansion and all over the globe the DJ is now bringing his high-octane, in-your-face energy to IIFA Stomp & IIFA Rocks! He has teamed up with Tampa based, Gumbi Ortiz who is known around the world for his exciting conga performance and his knowledge of rhythm and percussion, on this song. As the official track of the celebrations this year, the song will be played in the opening act of the Tata Motors IIFA Awards.
