Funky Maple Studios has just released their second music video for their new track, “Amma”. It features an Indian playback singer Karthik and a Canadian based singer My-Kal.
The song is based on a poem titled, ‘Aasai Mugham’, which is written by Mahakavi Bharathiyar. It is said that that Bharathiyar wrote this poem while being despaired over not finding a picture of his late mother. Thus, the concept was born for the creation of this music video. “Amma” is a tribute to all the mothers in the world.
Music is by Pravin Mani is a long term associate of the Oscar winning music director A.R. Rahman. Canadian director Pras Lingam shot this soulful music video. “Amma” is the second official release by Pravin’s and Pras’ production house, Funky Maple Studios Canada.
