Raw vegan veggie wrap

Being on a raw vegan lifestyle means one has to quit pizza, pasta, lasagna, wraps, and the list is never ending.  But, if you are creative enough, you can always mimic any dish. According to food science research from UC Davis, most of the attraction to food is related to childhood memories or just the visionary attraction.  So for example, having pizza with your loved ones when you were young, ends up giving you the same comfort when eating it even after 30+ years. If the vision part is almost similar it’s easy to train the mind to adapt to a healthier lifestyle. Now, to the yummy recipe –



  • 1 apple
  • 2 Zucchini
  • 1/2 cup Flax seeds
  • 1/2 cup grated coconut
  • 1 Tbsp turmeric
  • A pinch of salt
  • Cashews ( optional)


  • 1 cup spinach
  • 1 avocado
  • 1/2 lemon juice
  • 3-4 crushed garlic
  • 3-4 figs cut into small pieces
  • 1/2 tbsp Cayenne pepper


  1. For the wrap –
    • blend all the ingredients until smooth
    • lay it on a dehydrator
    • let it set at 135 F for 8-12 hours
  2. For the filling –
    • mash up the avocado, cayenne, and lemon juice
    • make into a paste
    • Mix all the ingredients into the paste and massage for 3 -5 minutes .
  3. Add the filling on the wrap
  4. Fold it neatly and serve.
