Sushmita Mukherjee joins cast of Zee TV's Housewife!

The bad girl is back! Veteran actress Sushmita Mukherjee will soon enter Zee TV’s Aaj Ki Housewife Hai.. Sab Jaanti Hai playing the wicked Indrani Devi! Sushmita will play an old friend of Sunaina (Himani Shivpuri,) someone who is seemingly classy, rich, a typical high-flying socialite but she’s really not!

She is aware of the fact that Sunaina is sitting on some huge money. Her only motive in rekindling ties with Sunaina is to somehow coax her to sell her huge property that she has vested interests in. Sushmita will sport a typical business woman look and is also believed to be carrying a pet along with her. When contacted, Sushmita Mukherjee confirmed the news and said that she has recently begun shooting for the show. She adds,

“I am happy to be working with Zee TV and Gulshan Sachdeva in Aaj Ki Housewife Hai.. Sab Jaanti Hai. I have been a part of Zee’s popular shows like ‘Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya He Kijo’ and ‘Ek Choti Si Zindagi’. And I’ve always had a wonderful working equation with both the channel and the producer. I am playing someone classy and wicked so this role should be a lot of fun!”
